Review
From 1608 he was an organist of the Basilica of St. Peter of the Vatican, a position he held almost until his death. He was the most admired keylist of his time.
His play, of free tempo and great fantasy, and his liturgical works for organ influenced all over Europe: Froberger was his student and Bach copied his Fiori musicali by hand.
