Review
Johann Sebastian Bach's younger son was formed with his brother Carl Philipp Emanuel in Berlin and later in Italy with Father Martini. There he became a Catholicist, an organist of the Milan Cathedral and triumphed as an opera composer.
In 1762 he settled in London, where he was a music teacher of Queen Carlota and founded with Carl Friedrich Abel the famous Bach- Abel concerts. In 1764 he met the young Mozart, eight years old, who was marked by his elegant and cantabile style: his keyboard concerts are a direct antecedent of Mozart's.
