Review
Alumni of the enigmatic Monsieur de Sainte-Colombe, was the great virtuoso of the viola da gamba in the court of Louis XIV and worked at the Opera next to Lully.
He left almost six hundred pieces for his instrument, some as descriptive as the account of a surgical operation. His figure inspired the film every morning of the world (1991).
