Romanticism · Germany and Austria
1824 – 1896
Ansfelden (Austria) - Vienna
Review
A virtuous organization in the monastery of San Florian and in the cathedral of Linz, he continued to study counterpoint until almost forty years. He later became a professor at the Conservatory and University of Vienna.
Deeply religious and great fan of Wagner, he composed symphonies of monumental dimensions that he reviewed over and over again. He died while working at the end of his Ninth, who dedicated «to the good God».
